CEENR Batteries
Inside the CEENR 6.0Ah Battery
The short answer
The CEENR 6.0Ah replacement battery uses 10 LG HG2 21700 lithium-ion cells wired in a 5-series-2-parallel configuration. Nominal voltage is 18V (5 cells × 3.6V). Total capacity is 6.0 Ah × 18 V = 108 Wh. Continuous discharge: 30 A. Burst: 60 A.
Why LG HG2 cells
LG HG2 was originally designed for vaping and high-drain power-tool applications. It hits the sweet spot for the 6.0Ah replacement use case because:
- Cycle life: 500+ full cycles to 80% capacity retention (vs ~300 for generic 18650).
- Discharge curve: stays above 3.2V under continuous 20 A draw — important for tool runtime feel.
- Cost balance: not Tesla-grade, but 60% cheaper than Molicel — fits the price point for a replacement battery.
